This delicate wine is sourced from the Strathbogie Ranges in central Victoria, a region renowned for its ability to produce exceptional Sauvignon Blanc. Its high altitude ensures pristine fruit flavour and the cooler climate results in a longer ripening period, with the grapes developing more flavour ripeness instead of simple sugar ripeness. This wine has been in James Halliday’s Top 10 wines under $10 and is a crisp, dry white showing typical passionfruit characters and a tropical bent, similar to the wines of Marlborough in New Zealand. The 10% Semillon contributes steely texture and a delicious lemony acidity on the finish. It is bright straw in colour with attractive green edges.
